Born in South Africa, raised in Northern Ireland, Shane Rutherfoord-Jones' background is as unique as his approach to music composition. An eclectic love of all music sees him as comfortable composing for choir or orchestra as for hip hop or drum & bass. Shane studied Composition for Screen at the prestigious Royal College of Music in London, and began working as an assistant to composer Lorne Balfe shortly after graduating. He has collaborated frequently with director Francesco Gabriele on projects such as Italian Miracle and Blue Hollywood. Shane has worked as the orchestrator for a number of high profile projects including Mission: Impossible - Fallout, Bad Boys for Life, His Dark Materials, 6 Underground, Widows and more.
